Qualcomm taps India’s auto tech potential in $8 billion growth push
American wireless technology giant Qualcomm, which currently generates around $950 million in quarterly automotive revenue globally, is positioning the sector as a major growth engine to target $8 billion by 2029. The company maintains that India would be a pivotal market in achieving this goal. Following its ADAS Level 2+ launch with BMW, Qualcomm has also confirmed that it is actively pursuing similar partnerships with Indian original equipment makers (OEM).
